Built on Real Experience, Not Theory
We started miracoryvia because financial education in Australia felt disconnected from everyday reality. People needed practical guidance they could actually use, not complicated jargon or unrealistic promises.
How We Got Here
Starting Small
It began with weekend workshops in Coffs Harbour. Just a handful of people wanting to understand budgeting without feeling talked down to. We learned quickly that most financial advice wasn't written for regular working people trying to get ahead.
Finding Our Voice
After three years of face-to-face sessions, we realized people wanted honest conversations about money. Not strategies that only work if you've already got capital. Real advice for managing rent, groceries, and maybe saving something on the side.
Growing the Reach
Word spread beyond the North Coast. We started connecting with people across NSW who were tired of finance feeling like a club they couldn't join. Our approach stayed the same: clear language, realistic examples, no hidden agendas.
What Drives Our Work
These aren't corporate buzzwords. They're the principles we actually follow when creating resources and talking with people about their financial situations.
Practical First
Every resource we create gets tested with real people. If something sounds good on paper but confuses everyone in the room, it gets rewritten. Simple as that.
Plain Speaking
Financial language excludes people on purpose. We break down concepts into normal conversation because that's how most of us actually think about money anyway.
No Judgement Zone
Everyone's financial situation is different. We don't assume you should have started investing ten years ago or that you've got a rainy day fund sitting around.
Education Over Sales
We're not here to sell you products or services. Our job is helping you understand your options so you can make informed choices that suit your actual circumstances.
The People Behind miracoryvia
Linnea Voss
Education Director
Linnea spent eight years working in community education before joining miracoryvia. She designs all our learning materials and makes sure everything we publish actually makes sense to people outside the finance world.
Saskia Drummond
Community Outreach Lead
Saskia connects with community groups across regional Australia. She listens to what people actually struggle with financially and brings those insights back to shape our content and approach.
Financial education should be accessible to everyone, not just those who already understand the system
We're committed to creating resources that respect your intelligence while acknowledging that most people weren't taught this stuff growing up. Money management isn't intuitive, and the Australian financial system has plenty of complexity. Our job is cutting through that complexity with honesty and clarity.
